At Home and Abroad

Red Shannon, from Limerick, spent a number of years studying in Montreal before moving to Toronto and then New Brunswick. While in Montreal he broadcast an Irish show on CJAD. He decided to move back to Ireland but was unable to obtain work. He is currently working as a journalist at BBC Radio, based in Manchester and also a correspondent for Global National in Canada.
