At Home and Abroad

Dolores Keane died at her home in Caherlistrane on Monday 16th March. A large crowd queued for in advance of the funeral mass as the Church of St Patrick and St Cuana in Kilcoona. President Connolly attended, as did her predecessor Michael D Higgins. Dolores was an icon of Irish music and toured extensively with De Dannan. Her voice was instantly recognizable and for many was the voice of Ireland. This interview was originally aired in 2014.
