In Conversation With Cli Donnellan

Cliodhna (Cli) Donnellan concluded  ten years study, part-time lecturing and coordinating position with the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick with a Dr. of Philosophy in 2018.

In September 2019, she relaunched an archival CD production entitled "Songs my father sang" - a compilation of remastered songs from old tape recordings of the late Sean Donnellan.  This album will be launched at the Willie Clancy Summer School 2020.

Cliodhna  is a creative facilitator and works with groups and individuals  with a focus on enhancing creative output, exploring new avenues of creative expression and kick-starting transitional creative life changes.  Cliodhna's work in this area emerged from her own life changes.  With a curious mind for self-discovery she spent over five years involved in Arts Practice research into the creative body and mind, individual behaviour and habits and how they may be inhibiting our creativity and devising practical tools that may enhance our creative life experiences.    She currently works with creative artists and individuals who would like move from a position of procrastination, fear of change or status quo.

Cliodhna offers workshops and retreats from her home situated on the hills of East Clare overlooking Lough Derg,  This idyllic setting compliments retreats and workshops with a beautiful natural wood walk at the end of the road.  This setting offers opportunte solitude, inspiration within nature and a chance to connect to our creative self.  Cliodhna offers practice tools to facilitate this process.

Cliodhna also offers private concerts to small groups where you can book and enjoy an intimate traditional Irish music concert with a glass of wine or tea and home made scones.
